Yummy Oatmeal For Babies

Mothers! Are you ready to prepare oatmeal porridge to your baby? Oatmeals are healthy for babies. It contains high fibre and a lot of vitamins to babies. It also improves their immune system. Oatmeals are way better then rice. It can easily digest by babies and a great source of energy for them. Oatmeal porridge is suitable for babies 6 months and above. Here are some easy recipes to help you make oatmeals porridge to your babies.

Milk Oat Porridge
Ingredients:
• ¼ cup oatmeals
• ½ to 1 cup water
• 1 cup formula milk


Directions:
1. If your babies are below 8 months, add oatmeals in to blender and finely blend to powder. If babies are 8 months above, you can skip this process. For toddlers, you may add few blanced walnuts or almond.
2. Add it into pan, then add water and stir well. Start to cook at medium flame. Stir constantly to prevent burning.
3. Switch off when the oatmeals become thickens. Wait it until cool completely, make formula milk and pour into cooled oatmeal. Serve it to your babies.

Apple oatmeal porridge
Ingredients:
• ¼ cup oatmeals
• 1 cup water
• 1 medium sized apple
• ¼ ghee
• ¼ teaspoon almond powder
Directions:
1. Blend oatmeals to powder if making for baby. For toddlers, you can skip this step.
2. Prepare a pot, add oatmeals with water. Wait few minutes to soften.
3. Cook at medium flame until soft.
4. Wash and peel apple. If making for baby, puree the apple. If for toddlers, grate it.
5. Cook oatmeals until thicken, add apple, ghee or sweetener and almond powder. Stir it then cover. Switch off the stove.
6. Cool completely and serve it to your babies.

Oatmeal scramble (This suitable for babies above 8 months)
Ingredients:
• 1 cup of cooked oatmeal
• ¼ cup soft cooked vegetables or fruits
• 1 teaspoon olive oil
• 2 egg yolks
• 1 banana
Directions:
1. First you need to whisk egg yolks, set aside.
2. Next, peel a banana and slice them into smallest pieces.
3. Heat up olive oil in a frying pan.
4. Add in oatmeals, fruit/vegetables and egg yolk.
5. Fry until egg are cooked.
Oat Berry Smoothie
Ingredient:
• ¼ cup uncooked oatmeal
• 2 tablespoons apple juice
• ¼ cup fresh berries
Directions:
1. Powder oatmeal in a blender.
2. Add in apple juice and berries, blend it
3. Serve to your babies.

Oats roti
Ingredients:
• 1 cup wheat flour
• ½ cup cooking rolled oats
• 1 teaspoon finely chopped coriander
• 1 cup water
• 1 tablespoon oil
Directions:
1. First, pour in wheat flour, oats and chopped coriander.
2. Knee the dough with water. Keep aside about 15 minutes.
3. Take a small portion of dough, make a round roti.
4. Heat a pan with medium flame, cook with oil till golden.
