These is because organic certification is not easy to get and very expensive. Local organic farmers grow their own crops in small amount, is not worth to get certified by spending extra cost. Their crops are organic but don’t label with organic seal on the packaging. Before you buy locally, you may ask their grow practices on how they manage their crops and livestock.
